Answers to common questions about magnetic mounting,
controller placement, panel connection and maintenance. The general installation process includes measuring the ceiling,
planning the panel layout, preparing a compatible metal mounting
structure, routing the cables, connecting the panels and attaching
them using the magnetic mounting points. The modular magnetic design is intended to simplify installation
and may be suitable for experienced DIY users. Ceiling structural work and mains-voltage electrical work should
follow local regulations and be completed by qualified professionals
where required. Yes, the magnetic mounting points require a compatible metal or
magnetic fixing surface. Standard non-metallic drywall alone
does not provide a magnetic mounting surface. In the standard modular configuration, one controller can operate
two panel lines, with panels on each line connected in series.
Always follow the wiring instructions supplied with the specific system. The magnetic modular design allows individual panels to be removed
when access is required. During installation, sufficient cable allowance
should be left so the panel can be lowered without placing excessive
tension on the connectors. Controllers and light engines should be installed in dry, ventilated
and accessible locations. Avoid permanently sealing serviceable
electrical components inside inaccessible ceiling cavities.Installation & Maintenance
